#1984HP Primitive Ceramic Canisters (Set of 3 or 4)
These primitive ceramic canisters are new and have been painted a crackled trail tan over black. I've painted each one with a primitive scene. The X-Lrg one has a rustic red saltbox house, a pine tree, willow tree and two sheep with the wording. "Live Well" on the front. The end of the X Large one has a willow tree and two sheep. The Large one has a willow tree and two sheep with the wording "Laugh Often" on the front. The Medium one has a saltbox house, two willow trees, and two sheep on the front wit the wording "Love Much". The Small one has a willow tree and two sheep on the front with the wording "Live Simply". The end of the small one also has a willow tree and two sheep. The edges of each one has black stars around the edges. The lids have been painted with twiggy vines, leaves, and red and mustard pip berries around the edges. The knobs are black but can be a different color if you choose. These are glazed on the inside, and are food safe! They have been antiqued and sprayed several times with a ceramic sealer. #1985HP Primitive Salt & Pepper Shaker Set
These are new ceramic salt & pepper shakers. They've been painted crackled trail tan over black. I've painted a two sheep and a willow tree on the front and backs. The tops have been painted with twiggy vines, leaves and red and mustard pip berries. The are marked S & P with black lettering on the top. They have been antiqued and sprayed with a ceramic sealer several times. Glazed on the inside and food safe. Clean with damp cloth. #1986HP Primitive Wood Canister (Set of 3 or 4)
These are brand new wood canisters. They were designed and made by us. They have been painted crackled trail tan over black. The X-Large canister has been painted with a rustic red saltbox house, willow tree, and two sheep. The words "Live Well" are at the top with two black stars. The Large canister has a willow tree and two sheep with the wording "Laugh Often" and two black stars at the top. The medium canister has a mustard saltbox house, willow tree, and one sheep. The wording "Love Much" and two black stars are at the top. The small canister has a willow tree and two sheep on the front. The wording "Live Simply" and two black stars are on the top. The end of the X-large and Small canisters have a willow tree and two sheep, with twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries in the top corners. The lids have been routered and are very stylish and vintage looking. I have painted twiggy vines, leaves, and red pip berries in all the corners of the lids. The lids have a rubber seal to keep food fresh. These have been antiqued and sprayed with a matt sealer. They come with removable, washable, plastic liners. #1987HP Primitive Paper Towel Holder
This was painted crackled trail tan over black. I've added a rustic red saltbox house, willow tree, two sheep on the front. I've added a black star, twiggy vines, leaves, and red & mustard pip berries to the top. The bottom I've painted the wording "Live Simply" and more twiggy vines, black stars and red pip berries. #1988HP Primitive Bread Box #1
This has been painted crackled trail tan over black. I've added some grassy hills, a saltbox house, some sheep, an American flag, and two willow trees to the front. Black corners, twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries on the edges. The lid opens in a downward motion. Knob styles are available, option below. The sides have been painted with a hill, willow tree and sheep with twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries on the top. The very top has been painted with black wording which reads "Simple Keepings". I've added two black stars with sheep painted over the top of them. The inside has been painted black. The piece the design is painted on has a removable insert to turn over to display another painting on the other side. Available in two sizes; Large-12" Tall x 16" W x 10 Deep. #1989HP Primitive Bread Box #2 - Black
This has been painted black and then sanded very smooth. I've painted the removable insert with a rustic red saltbox house on some grassy hills, with two willow trees, sheep, and the American flag. Above the scene I've painted the wording "Simple Keepings" in white lettering. Each corner of the door has been painted white with black stars. The edges of the door have been painted with twiggy vines, leaves, and red and white pip berries. The sides have been painted with a grassy hill a willow tree and two sheep, with twiggy vines, leaves and red and white pip berries on the side top. The very top of the bread box has been painted with white stars and the wording "Simple Keepings". The inside has been painted solid black. I've sanded the edges of this one to give it a time worn look. Knobs are available in different styles, options below. Have this painted any way you like using the customized by you box below. #1990HP Primitive Bread Box #3
This has been designed by us. The edges have been routered and is very stylish and vintage looking. The door opens in an upward motion. It has been painted crackled trail tan over black. The roll up door contains a Terrye French design. It displays a saltbox house two trees, three sheep and quilt on a rack, with a crow perched on top. Both ends have been painted with a tree, sheep and quilt rack with crow perched on top. I've painted the words "simplify" on the top with twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries. You have your choice of knob styles and colors. Holds one long loaf of bread. It has been antiqued and sealed with a matt sealer. Measures 18" Long x 9.5" Wide x 8.5" Tall. #1991HP Utensil Holder
I painted this crackled trail tan over black. There's a blue saltbox house on a hill with a sheep and willow tree. The top has black stars with twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries. #2026HP Home Sweet Home Banner
I painted the background in buttermilk. I've added rolling green hills, a saltbox house, sheep, tree with a birdhouse hanging from the tree, a quilt on a quilt rack. There is a wagon with a chicken and bunny, and a white picket fence at the bottom that has been decorated with roses. The top of the banner reads "Home Sweet Home". The top also displays some twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries, and a crow. The banner hangs by a wood rod with end caps. The piece has been lightly splattered with paint. It has been antiqued for that time worn look. Measures 15 1/2" Tall x 12" Wide x 1/4" Thick.
#1993HP Blessings Wall Hanging (Set of 2)
The backgrounds were painted in buttermilk. The edges are painted in black plum. I've painted an old watering can filled with flowers and a sign that reads "Blessings" on the first one. On the second painting I've painted several different flowers with the letters of the alphabet above the flowers. The buttermilk edges on both paintings have some detail work that makes the painting look like it's stitched around the edges. Both pieces have been antiqued and sealed with a matt sealer. My signature is on the back. Each one measures 9 1/2" x 7".
#1994HP Primitive Tea Pot
I don't have this particular Tea Pot any more, but I'm able to get more if you'd like. This was designed with one of Terry Frenches designs. I've painted the background in light buttermilk. I've added a saltbox house, crow, pear, wagon full of pears, twig wreath, and sheep, on both sides. I've painted twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries around the outside edge of the lid. I also added the wording "Primitive Blessings" to the lid. I attached a homespun bow to the handle. For decoration only!
#1995HP Stackable Box Set - Black Sheep Wool Co
This stackable box set includes 3 sizes of boxes. The large box has been painted black and I've added a painted label that reads "Black Sheep Wool Co. The lid was painted crackeled trail tan over black. The middle box was painted crackled trail tan over black, and I've added a sheep with two black stars. The top box was painted crackled trail tan over black and I've added three black stars. The lid has been painted black. These have been antiqued for that time worn look. When stacked they measure 12 3/4" Tall x 29 inches in diameter.
#1996HP Primitive Stackable Boxes - Black
These were painted black. Then each one has its own scene on the front. The large one displays two saltbox houses on a hill with an American Flag. The middle one displays a willow tree on a hill with two crows. The large on displays a sheep on a hill. There are mustard colored stars around each one of the lids. Stacking they measure 12 2/4" Tall x 29 inches in diameter.
#1997HP Primitive Ceramic Utensil Holder
Brand new Ceramic Utensil Holder. I painted the bottom half trail tan and the top rustic red. The lower half displays a saltbox house, a sheep on a pedestal, and the American Flag. The top half I've painted twiggy vines, leaves and white and red pip berries. This has been sprayed several times with a ceramic sealer. Clean with damp cloth. Measures 6 1/4" Tall x 16" in diameter.
#1998HP Primitive Mail Holder
I painted this a crackled trail tan over black, then I added a rustic red saltbox house on both ends, with an American Flag, two pine trees, and two sheep on a grassy hill. On the top, I've painted the words "Simple Keepings", two black stars with sheep over the top of them. There are 5 slots for mail, and one drawer for pens/pencils, and note pads. #1999HP Primitive Pop Corn Bag Holder
I painted this a crackled trail tan over black, and added a rustic red saltbox house on a hill with two willow trees, and two sheep. Both ends have been painted with a willow tree and sheep. The lid has twiggy vines, leaves, and red pip berries, and a black knob. The top has a black star with trailing twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries. This has been antiqued and sprayed with a matt sealer. Take the lid off and put your pop corn bags in, it dispenses from the bottom. Measures 9" Long x 6" Wide x 10" Tall.
#2027HP Primitive Rooster Make Do
As seen in Country Sampler Magazine January 2011 Issue. This is made of wood and would make a nice primitive decoration. It has been painted crackled ivory over black. It has the same design on both sides. The weather vane is hand carved, and has rusty tin wire wrapped around the point. The Rooster is wearing a sign that says "Amazing Grace", which is attached to his neck by rusty tin wire. It has been distressed and antiqued. #2001HP Primitive Bunny Cutting Board
This was painted crackled trail tan over black. I then added a primitive bunny in a plaid dress. She's holding a twig wreath with some flowers, a saltbox house in the middle, and a lavender colored bow. The bunny is holding a sheep on a leash with a crow on his back holding a bunch of lavender in this beak. The wording "Faith, Family, Friends on top. The handle has been painted with twiggy vines, and berries. I have lightly splattered and antiqued this piece. Hanger attached for hanging. Measures 7 1/2" Wide x 12" Tall x 1/2" Thick.
#2002HP Primitive Carry All Candle Lamp
As seen in Country Sampler Magazine January 2011 Issue. This was painted with a Terrye French Design on the front. The handle has the word "Primitive Blessings" painted on it, with a raffia bow, and a rusty tin star attached. It has a primitive candle lamp in it with some burgundy & mustard pip berries. It has a 6' on/off switch on the cord. It comes fully assembled and ready to use. Measures 14 1/2" Long x 5" Wide x 11 1/2" Tall. SHIPS NEXT BUSINESS DAY.
#2003HP Primitive Clock #1
I painted this in a crackled trail tan over black. I've added some rolling hills, rustic red saltbox house, two pine trees, one willow tree, and three sheep. The top and bottom I've painted some twiggy vines, leaves, and red pip berries. Uses AAA battery not included. Measures 14"Tall x 10" Wide x 4 1/2" Thick.
#2004HP Primitive Clock #2
This was painted crackled trail tan over black. The clock was divided up into several block by twiggy vines, leaves, and red pip berries. I then added one item for each block. The numbers are stars with the exception of the 12, 3, 6, and 9. I've added sheep over those stars. The edges of the clock are black. Uses 1 AA battery. This has been antiqued and sealed with matt sealer. Measures 22 1/2: Tall x 10" Wide x 4 1/2" Wide.
#2005HP Primitive Candle Lamps
These were painted crackled trail tan over black. I've added a ivory house on a hill with a willow tree and two sheep. The front bottom piece has the wording "Primitive Blessings" with a crow in the middle. The edges have been painted black. The lower part of the lamp holds a attached candle lamp that has a 6 foot cord with on/off switch. These have been antiqued and sealed with a matt sealer. Available as a set or single. #2006HP Primitive Butter Dish
I'm no longer painting this on the glass butter dish shown. I now paint it on the ceramic butter dish shown in photo two. The design will be the same. I've painted this light ivory and then painted a pear, with a ship over it. He has a crow sitting on his back. There are two white picket fences. Around the bottom edge I have painted twiggy vines, leaves, and red pip berries. Clean with damp cloth.
#2007HP Welcome Friends Sign
Welcome friends sign was painted a crackled trail tan over brown. I've painted a rustic red saltbox house, pine tree, willow tree, two sheep, and the American Flag. The words "Welcome Friends" is painted on the top. This piece has been antiqued for that time worn look. Sealed with a matt sealer. Hardware for hanging attached. Measures 22" Tall x 11" Wide.
#2008HP Primitive Blessings Sign
The top part of this sign is black, the middle, the lower was done in crackled buttermilk over brown. I've painted a pineapple on the top part, with the words "Primitive Blessings". The divider has twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries. The lower part has a saltbox house, willow tree, and American Flag on top. This has been antiqued and sprayed with a matt sealer. Measures 19 1/2" Long x 6" Wide.
#2009HP Gather Friends Like Flowers Sign
This was painted crackled buttermilk over brown. I've painted a white saltbox house on a hill with two sheep, and a willow tree. I've added a white picket fence below with some daisies. The divider is brown with twiggy vines, leaves and red pip berries. The lower part displays the wording "Gather Friends Like Flowers". This has been antiqued and sealed with a matt sealer. Hardware for hanging attached. Measures 22" Tall x 9" Wide.
#2023HP Annabelle - Butter Churn Cookie Jar
This is a new ceramic butter churn that has been painted slate gray over dark chocolate. I've sanded several different areas of this piece to give it that time worn look. The gray actually looks more like a light blue. I've painted Annabelle (which is a Terrye French design) on the front of this piece. Annabelle is wearing a prim dress with a tag hanging from her neck that says "Prim". On the bottom of her under-dress there are purple flowers. She also has a pocket on her dress with a bunny in it. She has a antique maroon bow in her hair. Annabelle is holding an American Flag. On the other side of her I've painted a tall sunflower with a crow perched on top. There is a tea stained fabric box at her feet adorned with hearts and a tag that says "Needfuls". I've attached a prim grungy tag that I've painted the words "Primitive Blessings" on. It is attached to the lid handle with rusty wire. I've also attached a tea dyed blue and white gingham bow to the lid handle. Measures 11" Tall x 21" in diameter. This piece looks very old. The outside has been sprayed with several coats of ceramic sealer. The inside has been glazed and is food safe. This piece would also look good antiqued. #2024HP Snowman Snow Globe - Catch A Falling Snowflake
This design has been painted on a wooden snow globe, that we've designed. It features a cute snowman catching falling snowflakes. There's a rabbit below him nestled in the snow. There's also a shovel in the snow with a blue bird on the top of the handle, holding a branch of berries in his mouth. The wording on the globe reads "Catch A Falling Snowflake" "Put it in your Pocket". The snow globe pedestal has been painted a crackled tan over black to make the pedestal look like it's made of wood, and old. The rectangular base has been painted in buttermilk. I've added some pine branches and red pip berries around the edges. Below the pine branches are blue checks around the edges with white dots in the center. The globe has a top on it based in buttermilk. Then I've added blue checks and red dots. The back is painted to match the front, but with no design. The globe is attached to the base by a screw. It comes fully assembled. Over all dimensions are 10 3/4 inches tall x 7 inches in diameter. The rectangular base measures 6 1/4 inches long x 3 1/2 inches wide x 3 1/4 inches thick. The snowman is a Terrye French design. 2 IN STOCK.
#2025HP Primitive Santa Butter Churn Cookie Jar
This is a brand new ceramic butter churn. I've painted a primitive santa on the front. The background was painted buttermilk over black, and then antiqued. I've sanded it in places to give it that time worn look. I've painted a prim santa on the front, with a black crow that has red berries in his mouth. The santa is a Terrye French design. The lid has been painted with twiggy vines, leaves and berries. I've attached some red pip berries, a grubby tag that reads "Happy Holidays" with a rusty snowflake attached to it, and a tea dyed muslin homespun to the handle. Measures 11 inches tall x 21 inches in diameter. This piece looks very old. The outside has been sprayed with several coats of ceramic sealer. The inside is glazed and is lead free and food safe. #2029HP Snowy Butter Churn Cookie Jar
This design was painted onto a new ceramic butter churn. In the first photo I painted the Butter Churn crackled light mocha over black. Snowy the adorable snowman is on his way to deliver a holiday basket full of pears. I've also painted a little Christmas tree on the right. And above Snowy's head there are falling snowflakes. I've attached to the lid a tea dyed red & cream gingham frayed bow, some red pip berries, a greenery sprig, rusty star, and an old primitive tag that reads "Winter Blessings" with two rusty bells. This piece has not been antiqued, but you may choose to have it antiqued if you wish. Just tell me in the customized by you box below. Photo two has the same design but it's painted on solid light mocha. This one hasn't been antiqued either, but you may choose that option. The lid is dressed up the same as photo #1. Measures 11 inches tall by 21 inches in diameter. The outside has been sprayed several times with a ceramic sealer. Clean with damp cloth on the outside, wet on the inside.
